Communication
How can technology be used to communicate more effectively with our stakeholders?

Things that could improve communication in our district… - An updated website that is more aesthetically pleasing and updated frequently - A TV channel with on-demand capabilities that would convey important district information - Laptop computers for teachers - Wireless service within all buildings for the laptops - Establishing protocols that are the same throughout the district for all types of communication - Proper training in all new equipment and initiatives
Laptops would be great, but I would settle for an updated desktop right about now! I am not sure how the district would handle the portability issue of wireless laptops, as much as we would love them (I had this at my old school). This does pose a large security risk, and to be honest, I don't think everyone would secure them as they should while out of their rooms. If I were able to take a laptop home, though, I would be able to communicate more effecively with all of our stakeholders!
